WJHCS and Arts Council of Princeton invite you to a special Open Mic Afternoon: on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 2-4pm celebrating the Witherspoon-Jackson neighborhood.
The afternoon begins with book signings and a conversation featuring @gregorysmith563 , @evelynelainecounts , and @aaronfisherartist , followed by an open mic where performers are invited to share poetry and spoken word inspired by the spirit of the community.
We will celebrate the release of “Reflections from a Vibrant Past, Volume 3” a powerful collection honoring the voices, memories, and lived experiences of W-J residents by @gregorysmith563
And our Executive Director @adamawelch will also debut his new book “Paul Robeson Place: How a Street Got Its Name”, alongside other works highlighting the neighborhood’s lasting impact.
